FREELANCE COPYWRITER & MOM HERE!
I’m the baby in the family and became an aunt at the age of 14. My nephew (now 20, say what?) started my love and fascination for all things pregnancy and babies! In school, I was obsessed with two things: science and helping people.
I got my Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science allowing me to combine my love for helping people with science.
I started writing in the eye care space during my 6 years of clinical experience as a certified ophthalmic assistant. I’ve always been good at explaining complex eye diseases and medical topics. It’s about breaking down complicated issues into digestible material for people to understand.
I became a first-time Mom in April of 2020, to the light of my life — Penelope. I realized my passion for helping people and explaining complicated topics could greatly benefit parenting brands.
I started Lauren Whaley Agency in August of 2020 — writing for parenthood companies, and a lot of moms turned entrepreneurs. *claps loudly* I don’t toot my own horn often but I realized (and so did my clients ) the parenting space is my jam.
